Beans & Corn Century from Naperville (5th Avenue Metra Station) to Dekalb and back. Note that there is no SAG for this ride. This is a NO DROP RIDE. 

Ride 100 miles with 2300 ft of elevation through the bean and corn fields and small towns of Northern Illinois while riding across the Fox River and Fox River Valley. We will be lunching in Dekalb - location TBD (be sure to bring a bike lock). The ride will finish a few blocks from the Naperville Metra Station at Mark Franklin's home for some light refreshments (food & drink) before everyone departs by Metra Train or automobile.

8 AM approximate departure for cyclists from Naperville 5th Ave Metra Station. Cue sheets will be provided.

Via Metra BNSF, depart Chicago Union Station at 6:30 AM and arrive at Naperville 5th Ave Station at 7:26 AM.

Via automobile, information will be provided for free street parking adjacent to Mark Franklin's house just a few blocks from the Naperville 5th Ave Metra Station. If driving to Naperville, once parked on designated streets, cycle to the Naperville 5th Ave Metra Station and be ready to depart at 8 AM (map and directions will be provided).


If returning to Chicago via Metra BNSF, trains depart the Naperville 5th Ave Station at 2:33PM, 4:33PM, 6:33PM, 8:33PM, & 11:33PM.
